My bro, Shallom, is back in Manila for 2 weeks... woohooo!!

I just got home after fetching him at the airport at 11am. Can't believe the travel via Fort Bonifacio would be way too easier than taking the EDSA route. Left our house at 9:30 am, fetch my future Sis-In-Law, Dev in Shell Tiendesitas at 10am and reached the airport at 10:45am.. Good thing I have a my very trusty Citi-Atlas.. :) (very easy to follow map of the Metro)

Before heading home, we (3) decided to have our lunch in Cyma, Eastwood.. It's my brother's first time to stroll the Eastwood Mall that's why he insisted we eat there.. Anyway, it was a feast for us.. had the Saganaki (OPA!), Wagyu beef Burger (i think it's quite dry and the cheese is so overpowering!), Seafood/Swordfish Souvlaki, Angel hair Clam Pasta (we didn't like the super many clams still in the shell on top of the pasta) and the Meat Gyro (Shallom's only request is that he wants MEAT since he hasn't have any in the last 4 months being in a Muslim country)... we were stuffed!!!
Then we headed home, Nanay opened the gate with so much excitement. When Shallom got out of the car, he blurted "Andito na ang bagong bayani!!" hahahha!! My brother is now a certified OFW, with pride!!! He handed out our pasalubongs just like what Tatay used to do when we were kids (when Tatay was still the OFW then).. that may be the reason why while opening the pasalubongs Tatay is quite teary-eyed. (Brings back memories siguro!)
Later, we will have dinner since it's also Nanay's birthday.. I/We feel blessed.. that in this special day, we are complete again... A lot of things to look forward to in the next 2 weeks while he's still here...
God is good!
