Floody Tuesday

Since MBC (Marikina Badminton Center) in Katipunan Road is closed, we tried another court in the same road, which we thought is better, newer and cleaner than MBC.. Our usual Tuesday Badminton Game turned into a disaster yesterday when a sudden outpour "na mala-delubyo ang lakas " came out of nowhere. (We weren't expecting it would rain because it was hot and sunny outside before we came in the court.)

After an hour of non-stop rain, we were shocked that the Katipunan road is flooded already, as in Knee-deep! I was thinking how we'll we get out knowing that my badminton buddies live far from Marikina and I know they too are worried as to how will they go home after seeing the flooded street..but since we don't have a choice but wait for the flood to subside, I told Bev to take pictures of Len and Me showing the flood.... (positive attitude na lang di ba??)

We decided to play again while waiting for the flood to subside.. We played badminton for 5 hours, the longest we had since we started playing.. LOL! Good thing, we were able to meet other stranded badminton players in the court and they let Len, Bev and Lani hitched with them so they could go home earlier.. (thank God for good people!) As for me.. I stayed another 2 hours until the road cleared... I heard there is a Typhoon (Feria) coming.. sana maligaw siya!! =)
